How do i reset a forgoten syskey on a windows XP home Edition pc I have important files in it.Any solutions?I set up a syskey startup password on my windows xp home edition last year then i moved and did not use the pc for al least six months as i have a latop.Now i have forgotten the password and cannot bypass this startup procedure.Any ideas.I can use a third a party disk with which i can see the files inside but do not know which one has the syskey and if it can be edited or deleted and if this will affect the system.Thanks1 person needs an answerI do too
